ABOUT THE MAKER
The glass workshop "Crystallerie de Pantin” was founded in France in 1864 and had approximately 400 employees during its peak. The most known works are one or two coloured iridescent glass objects with an iridescent appearance and extravagant etched or cut decorations.
DIMENSIONS
H. 30.5 cm.
DESCRIPTION
Colorless glass, milky, pink and yellow underlay, dark blue overlay, etched decoration, metal mounting, electrified (functionality not tested). Tripod metal stand. Round foot with retracted, slightly profiled baluster shaft. On the wall surrounding etched arched frieze with acacia/orchid blossoms, in it a city view in front of a distant seascape.
Signature 'de Vez' etched on the foot.
