Meet Christina, The Custodian who Turns Stewardship into Strategy
The Title Is Just a Detail. The Vision is Everything.
In the high-calibre world of art and exclusive events, the difference between quality and true uncompromised excellence is the depth of the curator behind it. Meet Christina, the Managing Director whose vision for Artemisia is rooted in a lifelong passion and propelled by executive command. She is the confident force who believes that true control is not over people, but over principles.
Christina’s unique professional journey is the invisible guarantor of every experience hosted at Artemisia.

From Commercial Mastery to Curatorial Precision
Christina’s fluency in business was second nature, fostered from childhood by her surroundings of accomplished entrepreneurs. After her studies, she dedicated 12 years to Francis Busuttil & Sons (Marketing) Ltd., where her mastery was forged in the demanding Wines & Spirits department.
She managed an extensive portfolio of over 500 products and navigated relationships with over 30 global suppliers, serving clients across the entire spectrum—from retail to the most exacting HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers)and events industries. This operational command is the foundation of Artemisia's five-star logistics.
Her capability was recognized internationally when she was personally selected by the late Charles Grant Gordon (1928–2013) of William Grant & Sons to become an International Brand Ambassador. Representing Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum across Europe provided invaluable experience in brand activation, and market penetration.

The Academic Anchor: Command and Capacity
This commercial rigor is powerfully complemented by Christina's deep academic scholarship and extraordinary discipline:
-
B.A. (Hons) in Archaeology & Theatre Studies (University of Malta)
-
M.Phil in Fine & Decorative Arts 1450–1900 (Christie’s London/ University of Glasgow)
-
Post-Graduate Diploma in Art Law & Business (Christie’s London/ University of Glasgow)
-
Currently enrolled in an M.Sc. program (Heartwood Foundation)
Furthermore, Christina manages this ongoing academic dedication while being the mother of three children under five—a clear testament to her unmatched organizational capacity, resilience, and determination under extreme pressure.
The Final Element: Excellence with Empathy and Purpose
Christina’s pursuit of Wagner's Gesamtkunstwerk—the total work of art—is realized not just in the flawless event space, but in the belief that Artemisia must function as a complete organism, connected to its community. This stewardship includes advocating for health integration through neuroaesthetics, ensuring the venue is a source of well-being. She is particularly passionate about working with the elderly and leveraging the restorative power of nature for therapeutic engagement. This dedication to purpose ensures that the meticulous control applied to our assets also serves a higher value: meaningful impact and responsible social change.
